Unemployed man checking on downward variation of maintenance payment of $700 a month for daughter

Number of View: 228 Hello Gilbert, I stumbled upon www.steadymarriages.com, and thought of writing to seek your advice. Some time back I had written to request for your book, and I told you I was preparing myself for unemployment. And the axe had finally fallen. I was made to sign a resignation letter yesterday, after I had finished the project I was working on for the last few months. My enquiry is on a Maintenance Order of $700 which I have been serving since Dec 2012, with regard to a child that a girl claims I am the biological father. I have not disputed the claim, because I have been in a stable relationship, and do not wish this matter to be made known. Father unable to see new-born child and facing child alienation in a divorce situation

Number of View: 224 Dear Gilbert, Hope you are well. I really need a good lawyer to fight my case against my own wife. We have quarrelled in the past (NO physical Abuse) – she took PPO against me and my existing lawyers are not helping me much! She just gave birth to my child and did not even inform me  – worst thing is she’s not letting me to see my own child! When I told my lawyer, he said I got no choice but to wait! But my family members and myself went to Help centre in Court and seek for assistance, they have advised saying that my wife has no right to stop me until the Court decides. She’s using my child as a weapon, and causing me much emotional pain! If you could help me to introduce a lawyer, whom I can rely on for  proper advice. My wife and her family is taking revenge on me by doing such idiotic thing, they might  also harm my child out of anger. Kindly help me to look out for a good lawyer. Thanks Anonymous Editor’s note: We have provided the writer with our lawyer contact.
